Finding installed version of Word from Access VBA

HI
I'm opening a word application for mail merge from an
Access 2000 VBA module and I want to check that the
version of Word on the PC is a recent enough version to
link to the Access 2000 DB backend. Is there a way to
discover the installed version of Word from within Access?
