Finding macro in an unknown workbook on hard-drive

I remember I made a macro, and it has the text "convert" in it.
(Let's be honest - I copied a macro from microsoft.public.excel and
pasted it in a workbook that I forget the name of.)

I'd like to find that code and put it in my personal.xls as a macro so
that I'll be able to use it with other workbooks.

I'm searched in windows explorer for files of type *.xls with
"convert" in the file, but that didn't work. How do you find an excel
(VB) macro (in a specific workbook) on your hard-drive?

If you can pick out a constant string--not a variable name, maybe just use
windows start button
find
and search through the *.xls files for files containing that text.

You could specify the date modified, too. (Might get you closer).
