Finding names of SEQ fields in a document

B

Bob

Howdy,

I am returning to a document which I began about 6 months ago, but have
not worked on for about 5 months. I have a couple series of SEQ
fields, following the advise found in the "Field codes: Seq (Sequence)
field" help item. The problem I have now is that I don't remember what
identifiers I used for those series (and I didn't write them down
anywhere).

Is there some way I can discover them? For example I was hoping I
could select the field, then do something like "show field definition".
But I haven't found such a function.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Bob H

P.S. In case version matters, it's Word 2004 for Mac, Version 11.0

OK, I found a way. Hexdump the file and hunt for text near the SEQ
field, then see how Word encodes a SEQ field.

It worked for me, but I presume (hope) there's an easier way, and would
still like to hear it.
