Finding out the Time/length of powerpoint presentation

Is there a way to see how long an entire powerpoint is (if it's set up with
various transition times) without watching the entire thing and timing it
yourself? Is there somewhere that it tracks the total time?

By the way, I'm using PowerPoint from Office 2004.

Is this the only way? I'm not very VBA savvy!

You could visit the transition settings dialog for each page and record the time
there, or look at the show in Slide Sorter view, where you'll see the transition
time to the lower left of each slide's thumbnail.

But note that at the bottom of the page with the VBA code, there's a link to
"How to use this VBA schtuff" where it explains in simple terms how to put the
code to work.

Give that a look and a try. I'd be interested to know what, if anything, is
hard to understand about it. There's always room for improvement.
