Finding the modes in bimodal and multimodal data sets

Excel's MODE function incorrectly reports a single mode in bimodal and
multimodal data sets. Does anyone know of a way to get Excel to report
the modes in bimodal and multimodal data sets?

Thanks.

I might take exception to "incorrectly" - Help *does* say "value", not
"values", and the first mode in a bimodal distribution *is* a mode.

In any case, this is a fairly frequently asked question. Here's an array
formula solution, depending on your distribution:

And a UDF solution (that will turn into a pumpkin with XL08):

Thanks for the response. It would be nice if the folks at Microsoft
would make the MODE function more robust.

Make sure you give feedback to MS (via Help/Send feedback...).
