Finish date in web access does not match Project Plan

Any idea why the finish date field in a web access time sheet would not
match the finish date field in the project plan? The task is fixed
duration, and the start date matches the baseline start date and the
finish date matches the baseline finish date in the project plan. The
plan has not been rescheduled or rebaselined. Everything else matches
between web access and the plan (actual work , remaining work, baseline
dates, etc.) just not the finish date. This tends to be annoying
because web access adds an exclamation point indicator to the task and
says it should have been completed by a certain date which in fact is
not true and does not match the finish date in the plan.

By chance, have you manually entered actuals into the Microsoft Project
plan? If so, then you must complete the following steps:

1. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assigments
2. Select the "Overwrite actual work entered by resources" option
3. Click OK

Doing so will "push" the actuals from the Microsoft Project plan to each
user's timesheet in PWA. Hope this helps.
