Firefox web-browser?

Ray

I installed Firefox web-browser to test using PWA, and got an error message.
Does anyone know if this will work with Firefox as a browser?
Thanks, Ray

Ray:

When you try it you'll get the error message that you need to be running IE.
I haven't found a Firefox hack to make this work. (Sure would like to see
one though!)

Thanks John,
I downloaded and loaded the latest Firefox, any shot an older version might
work?
Cheers, Ray

I've tried several iterations of Firefox (as well as Mozilla) with no luck. I
believe Microsoft wants to keep things in the family.

I went ahead and downloaded the beta version of IE, and its pretty Firefox
like. The main functionality, tabbed browsing, that I liked
FF for is now in IE. Its been very stable for me so far. You might want too
give it a whirl. This doesn't address a Project Server implementation where
FF or Mozilla is the corporate standard browser though.

Have you tried the Firefox extension that lets you run an IE-engine based
instance in a Firefox Tab? I use this heavily for web development in order
to identify discrepancies between the two engines and have had great luck
with it!

Hope it helps!

Jerry
