Firewall Won't Let Me Publish Pages!

My Windows XP firewall won't let me publish my web page updates with either
FP or WS_FTP! It used to work properly, but all of a sudden, it doesn't,
and I don't know why. If I temporarily turn off the firewall, I can
publish. I have tried playing with some of the firewall settings
(exceptions), but nothing has worked so far...help! Turning off my
firewall, even temporarily, is not a good way to do things...

Create an exception for FrontPage in the firewall exception tab.

BTW: If you use FTP it will break the FrontPage extensions on the server.
This is not good.

I already had that exception in the firewall, but since it didn't work, I
deleted it, then re-added it myself again, but it still didn't let FP
upload. (My ISP doesn't allow use of FP extensions anyways...but that is
not of concern at present. I just mentioned WS_FTP as it was the program
that I used successfully before using FP.)
