Fireworks & Frontpage

Hello,

I bought Fireworks b/c it seems like a great tool for slicing and dicing up
images for webpages. It also creates pop-up menu's very easily, which I
created for the first time today. Next, I exported everything from Fireworks
(images, css it created, etc.) into my FP site. I went to one of my webpages
and added the menu I created via the :included content" feature and
unfortunately, it screwed up the page. It inserted a blank line below the
menu, wided my entire table, and produces errors when I try to rollover the
menu. Do these 2 just not work together?

Thanks,
Beverly

Hi Beverly,

I am guessing here because I don't have Fireworks installed (but I know it
is very good)

When you use FrontPage Includes...the only part that is included is what is
in the <body> section of the included page. When you produced the Fireworks
rollover menu there is probably some JavaScript that needs to go into the
<head> section. Even if you have that in the <head> section of the actual
Included page...it won't be shown in the page that includes it. To get
around that all you should need to do is to also paste that same JavaScript
into the <head> section of the page where you have inserted the include.

Hopefully it will then work!

Ask your question at the Fireworks forum: forums.macromedia.com
macromedia.fireworks. don't know why you want to slice and dice so much. I
work with images all the time and have never done it. I believe that
Fireworks menu is thaought to be pretty querky also.
