Hello,
I'm using Office 2004, student/teacher edition, and I'm running it on
Tiger. As of yesterday, I could successfully play videos in slides of
a powerpoint project. Today, I can add the video file to a slide, but
I cannot get the first frame of the video to appear on the slide--
instead, the film strip icon (looks the same as the one you'd click on
to insert a video clip) appears on the slide, and I have to double
click that to get the video file to open, then I have to click again
to get the video to play.
I feel as though I've tried just about everything (clicking on the
icon, then choosing "set poster frame" does nothing--the first frame
does not appear if I leave the slide and then return to it), and I'm
at a loss. Does anyone have any ideas about why this might be the
case, and how I might fix it? This happened after I trashed a bunch
of files to make more room on my hard drive, so could trashing some
obscure file have caused this problem?
Thanks,
Jen
