Examine what add-ins you have installed as this is not normal Outlook
behavior.
Start Outlook with the /safe switch to turn off all add-ins, then enable
them one by one, restarting Outlook in normal mode each time until you find
the offending add-in. Then go to the software producer's site to see if
they have an update to correct the problem.

| I get the same error & I don't have Norton installed. I hate Norton.
| This is on my wife's Vista with AVG Professional v8. I have tried
| turning off the AVG protection completely and it does not change
| anything. In addition, my notebook also has Vista with Outlook 07
| with AVG Professional v8 and it does not remove the first letter of
| the subject line when I send a message. This is insane and I am
| convinced it is not a Norton error.
