First row to repeat as header

I am using Word 2003 and I have marked that the first row
of my table should repeat as a header. My table spans
three pages and the header does not appear on any of
them. I have tried this in three different documents and
I can't get it to work. It did work in Office XP. Is
this a bug?

The header is shown only in Print Layout view, not in Normal view. Also
header row(s) must be the top row(s) in the table (it sounds as if yours
is). Is your table broken anywhere? A page break will split a table, while
"Page break before" formatting will not.

I'm using Print Layout view and I am not using page breaks
within a table. I am using the first row in the table as
the header. Is anyone else able to do it in Word 2003?
Perhaps I need to reinstall...
