Firstname.lastname not saving in AutoComplete NK2 file.

We just moved to a new naming convention for email addresses to
firsname.lastname.

Ever since the change Outlook 2003 will not save Firstname.lastname entries
into the autocomplete file (NK2).

Is this a flaw?

Is there a fix?

We've deleted the Nk2 file to recreate a new one, but for whatever reason
the NK2 File will not update.

Suggestions?

WE are not using Cached exchange mode.

So these are internal addresses? Outlook/Exchange doesn't use the SMTP
addresses for delivering internal mail so I kind of fail to see the issue
here. Care to explain a bit more?

I'm also curious for why you don't use Cached Exchange Mode. Could you share
the reason for that as well?
