As with many other entities, all our reporting works on a fiscal year where
the first month of the fiscal year is Sept. So, Sept 1, 2003 is actually in
FY04. I have an InfoPath list that I am storing in SharePoint. The SP
library spits out a list with all the relevant information and then i export
that to Excel for my reporting in pivot tables. My problem is that unless I
do some date magic in excel first (thus breaking the link from SP == bad, no
updates) then I can't use the pivot tables as I have previously.
any help? I think if I can somehow create a field in the InfoPath form that
holds the FY for the date in another textbox then I can make the rest work.
any thoughts?
