fit to page printing report

I am trying to print the cashflow report and change the "fit to" setting in
order to scale the printout to (for arguments sake) 1 page.

However this option "fit to" is greyed out when trying to print out the
report.

This option is available for those reports generated from the current view
however not reports.

Its driving me crazy because my cashflow is huge and I dont want it spanning
4 a3 pages across?

Adjusting the time-scale isnt satisfactory.

I am hoping someone can explain why this setting is greyed out.

I have tried printing to pdf and other printers but it's always greyed out.

Just use print screen and print it as a picture

for that to work i would have to first scale to one page on the screen but
if i could do that I wouldnt be having this problem in the first place.

can someone just confirm for me if its possible? I am guessing its not and
if not.. fine a bit stupid of MS but ill move on.

If it is any help, my "fit to" setting is also greyed out on this report, but
I do have the Adjust to n% of normal size, which does the same thing, albeit
via trial and error.

In general, I have found that the accuracy and convenience of print preview
in Project 2007 is worse than it was in 2003. In particular, the Fit to 1
page wide by n
Pages tall used to accurately scale to fill a whole number of pages, but 2007
often leaves half a page empty, or spills a couple of rows over to an extra
page.
