FIx: Detect and repair office files

C

cketchum

I recently used the "Detect and Repair" menu under the Help menuu of Excell.
It did repair excell but in the process I lost all of my outlook files.
There was no warning or option, they were gone and a search of the disk
failed to discover where. Using Excell 2003 with SP2.

What Outlook files did you lose. I very much doubt they are gone forever,
Try looking for a *.pst file and when you find it, re-open it in Outlook
(File>Open>Outlook data file...)
