I have seen a few posts reporting that as soon as a message has been viewed,
its content disappears. Having read a few posts I had a play around and
worked out exactly what causes the problem without having to compromise
computer security. This relates to AVG only.
Open the AVG Control Centre
Select "Email Scanner"
At the bottom of the page select "Properties"
Select "Configure"
In the email scanning section, uncheck BOTH "Certify mail" boxes
Ok and OK again
Close the AVG Control Centre
Restart Outlook
From now on, all new messages downloaded from the mail server will display
correctly, however it won't help with any that you have lost in the meantime.
Hope this helps guys.
