Fix for MS Outlook XP Runtime Error MS Visual C++ runtime library.

My MS Outlook XP has been working but has stopped working and gives me the
following message
MS Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program:C\ProgA~1\Micros~4\office10\outlook.exe
I have gone to the MS web site and downloaded and installed all the updates
for
MS XP and MS Office XP Standard for Students and Teachers
How do I fix this?
