Fix Header Sections

P

PAL5

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Somehow I added new sections into headers approximately p. 154 into my document. I need all of the sections to get back to just section 1 so all of the page numbers in the headers flow from the beginning to the end. How do I get rid of the added sections? This seemed to happen on my stats pages where I was entering new tables today.

Please help asap!

When you add a section break, you need to set "same as previous" to continue
the headers and footers down.

If you add wide tables, you have to add section breaks to go to landscape.

In which case, you will need to break the "Same as Previous" inheritance to
create a landscape header and footer, then break it again to create a
portrait header and footer.

Search on the Word Help for "headers and footers" to see instructions on how
to do these things.

ALL USERS: Make sure you allow Word 2008's help to go on line when you use
it ‹ the Help was not ready when the CD was cut, so the local help files
have almost no information in them. The web version of the help is being
expanded and updated frequently...

Cheers
