fix word 2003 shut down when pasting from yahoo email

When I try to highlight, copy and paste anything that is in a Yahoo e-mail to
word 2003, Word will pause for a long time then I get the message, "MS Word
has encountered a problem and needs to shut down." The work-around that I
have is to select "edit" from Word 2003 and then "paste special." Error
message contains "32.dl" and "kernel32.dl". There are not problems with Word
2003 in pasting from any other source.

There is a well known issue with pasting from Yahoo mail for which the
workaround is as you have described. Whenever Word crashes, see
http://www.gmayor.com/what_to_do_when_word_crashes.htm for a fix, or you
will simply compound the problems.
