hello NG,

i am working on a huge sheet, wich needs a lot of scrolling. i have seen
once, that someone had altered the first line and the first column in a way,
that they are displayed always, no matter how far you scroll. they where in
a kind fixed, only the rest of the table scrolled. in this way, you could
always know "in wich row you are". has anybody a hint for me on how to do
that?

thanx,
tom.

Hello Don,
It's called "freeze panes"
Place you cursor under the row and to the right of the cells you want
to keep from scrolling and

window>freeze panes

thanx a lot!

Cu,
Tom.
