Hi
We have an interesting issue currently. We have a number of contractors
which are paid on a daily rate, regardless of the number of hours they work
in a day. For budgetting purposes, this provides no issue as we ensure that
all resources are levelled (either manually or automatically), but when
actuals are recorded via PWA, Project does its clever trick of calculating an
hourly cost and multiplying by hours. As a general rule, contractors
typically only work on one project. We would prefer that they do not enter 2
figures - one for a normal day and one for overtime. Also, everybody is
obliged to enter actual time worked, not a standard 8 hrs.
We currently use MS Project 2003 and Project Server 2003.
Thanks in advance
