Hi guys,

Can someone tell me how I can set a fixed duration time over a fixed
number of days? We have lots of tasks inwhich we do for a couple of
hours in a number of days. I can't seem to get it fixed in MSProject
2000. Please help me.
Thnks in advance,

Carol.

To do this, wouldn't the task have the following properties:

Duration: (say) 4 days
Type: Fixed Duration
Effort Driven: No
Work: 2 hours (as you defined)

This results in a task that has total work of 2 hours, spread across 4
days. A single resource would then consume those 2 hours across 4 days,
and project will compute that for you at 0.06 units.

Carol,

Your cross-posting made me remember, and then go look for, your asking
the same question yesterday, answered by Ed and Steve. Anything wrong
with what was previously stated?
