Fixed Missing Part of Include Page

Clive

Thanks Andrew and Thomas for checking my Navigation
buttons on your computer. I'm glad all five buttons
showed up for you on www.clivesoden.com. I was able to
fix the missing button (third one) by changing the file
name that it links to. The old file name was ads.htm and
for some reason my Sony laptop with Windows XP Pro and
SP2 did not like that file name. The problem is fixed
but the mystery lingers on.

Some internet security programs will block pages that may be carrying
advertisements, such as banners.htm. If you are running such a program,
ads.htm might be included in the list of blocked pages.

Thanks Ron for letting me know that some file names are
are included in the list of blocked pages. Now I have
discovered another issue with my laptop running Windows
XP Pro with SP2. My two affiliate banners are not
displayed on my laptop although they are displayed on my
desktop running Windows 2000. The page with the two
affiliate images for Corel and LinkShare are on the
bottom half of http://www.clivesoden.com/othr_sts.htm.
The two images should appear after each of the last two
paragraphs (I've since added some text links for people
who cannot view the images). I'd appreciate anyone
checking out this page to see is the Corel and LinkShare
images are visible. Also, would there be some browser
settings I could change.
Thanks,
Clive Soden

The new pop up blocker as well as some other features of WinXP SP2 will now
stop some things from showing. You probably need to do some studying about
SP2 on the MS site, starting here:

Both images are showing on Windows XP Home SP2, IE6. The browser/firewall
settings I use are default settings as far as animated gifs are concerned.
