Fixed v floating dates -- visual cues?

Is there any way to get Project to highlight fixed start/end dates?

I have been learning Project and I have entered a lot of tasks. Before
I understood the philosophy, I entered some with fixed dates (I
think), but now I can't tel which ones are which. They all have
start/end dates. How can I tell which ones I manually entered?

I just created a couple of tasks both ways and I can't see any
difference in how they are displayed.

Thanks

Hello,
If you are using MSP 98, on the left of the Table Entry you can see some grey "labels" with bleu dot
or red dots :
- bleu dot highlight "smooth" constraint of date
- red dot .... "tougth" constraints....
To remove the constraints of date, in the Task information dialog box, tab "Advanced", reset the
type of constraint to "As soon as possible".

Insert the "indicators" column (preferably to the left of the Task Name
column.
This will show a small calendar icon for those tasks which are anything
except "ASAP".

Got it, thanks
