Fixing a large document

If someone could help this potential newbie problem...I wanted to make
a 25 page report structured like the lines below:

2001 Bowman's Best #123 Quincy Carter RC
$6.00

2001 Crown Royale #41 Troy Aikman
$1.50

2001 Crown Royale #42 Rocket Ismail
$0.60

2001 Crown Royale #43 Emmitt Smith
$2.00

look like this:

2001 Bowman's Best #123 Quincy Carter RC
$6.00
2001 Crown Royale #41 Troy Aikman
$1.50
2001 Crown Royale #42 Rocket Ismail
$0.60
2001 Crown Royale #43 Emmitt Smith
$2.00
It appears as if there are 2 tabs between the "2001" and the "$x.y.z" I
tried the Find and Replace with several different scenarios and have
failed. (I have been able to change a few by putting the cursor in
front of the "2001" and backspacing). Any ideas? Thank you,
Steve

If your looking to replace instances of two consecutive presses of Tab with
only one, you can do so in Find & Replace.

In the Find What: field open the list for Special (you may need to click the
jellybean in the lower left corner of the F&R dialog to expand it). Select
the Tab character (^t) twice - or you can just type ^t^t. In the Replace
With: field enter the ^t once, then either replace one instance at a time or
hit Replace All if you're sure that's what you want to do.

I would select the whole thing and Table>Convert>Text to Table, checking
"Separate at Tabs".

Then drag stuff so the right text is in the correct columns all the way down
(you need shift only the ones that are "wrong").

When you are satisfied that the extra column is empty, delete it.

Hope this helps
