Fixing Column Sizes

I have a spreadsheet that updates stock prices (thus, it cannot be
protected). The column sizes keep changing. Is there any way to "fix" the
column sizes?

I have no problem doing as you describe, but it doesn't hold. When I close
and then reopen the s/s, the column reverts. Also reverts even when the s/s
is open and it is doing the update of the prices.

I understand the issue as: How can we set fixed column width for an Excel
spreadsheet?

In common scenario, we can use the way mentioned above to set fixed column
width. However, it seems that you are using a stock price add-in which can
query data from Internet. If that was the case, I am afraid that we could
not keep the column width fixed.
