flag due date in BCM

I added reminder time and reminder in my Business contact view. When I click
the reminder, I can see the reminder time for my follow up flag for a split
second. Otherwise it says "None", but I know I set a due by time when I
created the follow up flag.

How do I get the reminder tiime to view permantly?

Hi,

This is normal behavior for BCM contacts. Reminders fire only for contacts
in your default Contacts folder.

Fasho,

Reminder flags are not supported nor intended to work in BCM. What is
confusing is that apparently when the BCM objects (Account & Business Contact
Record items) were created by the program designers they were derived
originally from the original Outlook Contact Record form and many of the tool
bar icon buttons remain highlighted on the BCM form eventhough they are not
functional. Like most normal Outlook users, you may be accustomed to using
those toolbar features such as the follow up flag so is natural for you to
expect to have them work when they also now appear highlighted and available
in the BCM record items toolbar. Leaving these "dead-buttons" in the new
form seems like sloppy or lazy design on the part of the BCM creators because
naturally they are going to initially confuse and then alienate all of the
old Outlook users new to BCM who then try to use these previously familiar
features and then discover that they can't. Surprise! User un-friendly
trickery strikes again! I don't know why in the world they didn't modify
these items similiar to how they created the Opportunity Record form. You'll
notice that a BCM Opportunity record is derived from a modified original
Outlook Task record. On the Opportunity Record they at least created a
"Greyed-out" shading of the toolbar buttons in order to make more clear that
certain toolbar buttons are not functionable.

I am not a programmer though so let's just assume that there is a valid
technical design related reason for this confusing oversight. My gut tells
me otherwise though. I don't mean to be negative but it is not too much to
ask for users to expect more user friendly, intuitive design with attention
to detail.

After all, that is what makes great software!
