Flags, Rules and Sync with PDA

Here is my objective: I want to be able to synchronize my PDA with
outlook, but I only want the "Flagged" messages to be synchronised.

I have it setup with rules that all the messages in my inbox are moved
to my personal folder except if it is flagged- let us call it NR. I
also have rule that says copy the flagged items to NR folder.

Next I review the messages in the NR folder and flag them for action.
Once I flag them, I want the messages to be copied to Inbox, so that
when my PDA syncs, it is only copying the flagged items.

What I did was to set up a For Follow up search folder in NR and so all
flagged items are now in the the For Follow up folder. Then I set up
another rule to move all mails from my For Follow up folder in NR to
Inbox. So this rule in combination with the first rule will ensure
that 1) only flagged messages are in Inbox and that when I flag a
message it will be recognized by the search folder and that the rule
for copying the mail from the For Follow up folder to Inbox only moved
flagged items.

The problem is that the rule for copying from For Follow up to Inbox
does not fire whenever there is a new item in the folder - I have to
run the rule manually. Any ideas?

Rules fire automatically only when a message is received. You placing a
message in Inbox does not count as receiving a message. Moreover, Search
Folders aren't real folders. Additionally, rules work automatically only in
the Inbox. I don't think you can accomplish what you want without having
features in your sync software that can accomplish it.
