Flashing or Blinking Text

Clive

Since the IE browser does not support the <blink> and </blink> tags, is there
a simple way in FrontPage 2003 to make a line of text blink or flash on and
off?
Thanks,
Clive

NS 6.21 and up do not support the blink tag either.

Thomas,
Thanks for the info. I'll have to investigate other methods of making the
text stand out more.
Thanks,
Clive

Hi Clive,

While I am not recommending doing this..as it annoys many people..you could
make your text blink by making it into an animated .gif rather than simple
text. As far as making text stand out though there's many other simpler and
less distracting ways to do it..you can bold, italicize, change colors,
possibly change fonts, etc. Those methods can make text stand out and are
much more acceptable to most folks.

Joe,
Yes, I think you're right - blinking text would be annoying. I'll use some
other method.
Thanks,
Clvie
