I have a schedule set to check my email every few minutes, however, with the new version of Entourage, every time email is checked, my computer screen flashes. This happens even if it is running in the background. Is there a way to stop this? As you can probably imagine, it's driving me crazy!!!!

Check your Notifications preferences under Entourage in the Menu bar.

If resetting those does not work, you need to determine where the problem is
located. Is it your Identity or User folder??

Create a new Identity, enter one account for testing purposes (select to
leave on server) and see if the default setting works there. If that fails,
test in a new User with a new Identity.

Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the
New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching. Test.

This sounds like you have Assistive Devices enabled on your Mac. Go to
Apple menu --> System Preferences... --> Universal Access --> Hearing
and uncheck "Flash the screen when an alert sound occurs".

Hope this helps!
