Can I alter the Flexi-arrow that comes with Visio, so that I can re-size
it like I can re-size a rectangle?

This is a pretty simple-looking problem but I don't understand anything
about the geometry of it, and not much about shapesheets.

What I want to achieve is a simple arrow, without a head. Imagine a long
rectangle joined to a triangle, same width. BUT when I make the
rectangle longer, the shape of the triangle but doesn't alter.

Closest I've come is using the flexi-arrow and adjusting to make the
arrow head 'flat' with only one pointy bit.

Problem with it, is it's really hard for a user to alter the width
(there aren't any control handles).

Every time I try to access these pages with IE7, IE7 crashes!
Ironically Firefox has no problem with them.

Unlucky!. But I can, IE is same as yours, IE7.
