Flickering Cursor

We just installed Word 2003 and the cursor flickers when moved. Is there a way to turn off the flickering?

I have noticed that in certain documents (legal landscape, four columns, in
Print Layout view), the screen flickers as I type, but this is not a problem
with other documents. Is your problem limited to certain documents? Have you
tried updating your graphics driver?
