Flickering Images in Word 2003

Am dealing with documents with jpeg images inserted. Flickering occurs when
document is scrolled to a point where image is partially shown (either at top
or bottom of screen).

Running on Win XP Pro x64. Have checked that the graphics drivers are
installed properly, no similar problem with other applications including
Powerpoint & Flash.

Any idea how this can be fixed? Please help. Many thanks!!

i use the word2002 in a Citrix environment on Xenserver on Windows2003
X64.
The flickering issue stops for me when i set the RAM memory 4gb or
below, when i use 8Gb ram then the flickering occurs.

I have the same problem with MS-Word 2003 working on Windows 7, graphics card: ASUS GT610-2GD3-CSM.

Applying MS-Office SP3 (Office2003SP3-KB923618-FullFile-ENU.exe) solved the problem.
