Flickering Of Form

I am opening a subform with records and as it is taking
time the screen is flickering. The form is opened as
dialog. If not opened as dialog the form is not flickering
using "doCmd.Echo". Echo is not working if form is opened
as dialog.
Can anybody help me out.
