Flip a Cross Functional Chart

I am wondering if there is an easy way to change the direction of a cross
functional flow chart. Let's say I start out with a vertical one, add
several shapes and then decide it will flow better going horizontal. Is
there an easy way to swap it without deleting and starting over?

Hello Tami,

Basically no I'm afraid. The horizontal and vertical cross functional
flowcharts are based around two different 'holder' shapes and the position
of subsequent shapes, including the flow lanes are related to these shapes.

Although you could do this with code, I think the next best option would be
to create a new flowchart with the correct number of lanes and orientation
and copy and paste the shapes across. (You might find Edit /Select by
type... useful when copying.) The connectors should stay connected so there
would only be a minimal rearranging task to go through.
