In 02-03 I used the floating menu bar, when converted to 07 it was added to
the ribbon under Add-Ins which a BIG waste of screen real estate and cannot
be moved by the end user (most users prefer it be on the left side of the
screen). Is there a way to continue to use the floating menu bar or am I
stuck with ribbon? I write Access programs that are designed to be used by
non-geeks, allowing the users access to design feature is the kiss of death.
Up until 07 it was easy to restrict access to these features, not now – or I
have not found a way yet.
