floating merge fields

rdrnofear

hello,

I have pre printed letterhead....data will be merged both above and
below this data. how do I keep empty merged fields from floating.

example:

<name>
<company>
<address>
<citystzip>

....preprint Info...

dear<first>

if the company field is empty, how do I keep proper formatting....and
stop the other merge fields from floating up/down.

thanks
rob

Hi Rdrnofear,

Usually, we put the data into a table with set row heights, or into a
FRAME (from the Forms toolbar) with a set height and formatted relative
to the page (not "Move with text"). From the sample you show us, either
should work in this case.
