Floor Plans and CAD Files

I am currently importing CAD files into Visio and updating them to "As Built"
for my institution. I have been asked to include area measurements for each
room. Is there a way to have the program give these figures?

have you checked out the tools => addons => maps and floor plans => enable
space plan ?
