Floppy disks sizes (1.44MB = ?K)

I know that a 1.44MB floppy disk is larger than a 720K disk. What is the K
amount in a 1.44MB disk?

For the record, a 1.44MB disk is very similar to a 720K disk. The
difference? The 720K disk is single-sided. The 1.44MB is double-sided.
720K times 2? 1.44MB.
