FlowChar wizard - Visio 03 Pro

[Maximums]

I need to either create or find a wizard the will allow me to import from
..xls files.

The org wizard is great for org charts but does not give me what I need for
this project. I have dozens (perhaps hundres) of more complex multi-parent
trees that I need to create. I'm looking to create a streamline process
using Visio.

Also, I would like some control over the look of the final product --
whereas in the org wiz I can't seem to edit the properties and look of the
chart.

I'm open to a variety of suggestions or third party options.

In the v2002 sdk there is a sample program that shows to create a flowchart
from an excel spreadsheet. Coincidentally it was in v2003 that they dropped
that function.

Any change that this function will be added back in either as a patch or in
an upcoming release?

it hasn't been announced by MS. It is not usual for them to backup to
previous functionalities on addins. Actually I was pretty happy to
'rediscover' this sample given the number of requests that we have for excel
import of flowchart data because it gives those that want to take on the
challange to add functions they require.
