Flowchart connectors

Dee

I downloaded a flow chart word template from the microsoft
website. In this template was a toolbar for flowchart
connectors. In Excel the flowchart connectors are
available in the autoshapes on the drawing toolbar. In
Word they are not there. Is there a way I can add this
toolbar to my drawing toolbar in Word?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Dee,

You didn't mention the version of Word you're using.
In Word 2002 and 2003 you can use Insert=>Picture=>New Drawing
to turn on the Office Drawing Canvas. When you're in
the drawing canvas the connectors are available.

In Word 97 and 2000 you have to install the Draw 98
add-in (same thing as the drawing canvas) and then
use the same steps to have the smart connectors
available. In Word 2000 Draw 98 is on the Word CD
or on Office CD#2. In Word97 it's a download from
