Flushing Outbox in Outlook 2000

Place Outlook Offline by using File-> Work Offline. Close and restart
Outlook. You should now be able to delete the messages. Don't forget to put
Outlook back online.

Can anyone help with flushing phantom messages from my Outlook 2000 Outbox?
