Folder Homepage Without A Web Server

Is it possible to setup a static .html page as a folder homepage? By that I
need to know if the folder's homepage MUST reside on a webserver or if it
simply be a .html file residing localling on the machine.

When I attempt to use the following as the address for the home page
"C:\Documents and Settings\HolleD\My Documents\VBA Code\Test.html"
Outlook returns the error: "Could not obtain offline settings for the
address...Certain types of addresses cannot be made available offline."

A local page is working ok for me with Outlook 2007.
If you have problems with it can you host it on a local web server? Just
enable that folder as a web directory.
