Folder Icons in insert file window are missing

Hi
I am using Outlook 2000 and Windows XP.
It's been working great for a long time..but all of a sudden, when I create
a new email message and click insert file to attach a file, the folder icons
are missing but the folder names are there. It looks very strange.
What would cause this to happen and how can I fix it?
