Folder in which to install SP3

I received the CD of SP3 for office. There are NO
instructions with it and, when attempting to install it, it
asks in which folder to put the extracted files. Do they
just go into the C:\program files\Microsoft Office folder
or do they go into one of the sub folders there or
somewhere else altogether?

Thank you. I have now looked through that entire bulletin,
but do not see the answer to my question. Does someone
know in which folder the extracted files are meant to go?

You can extract the files to any folder you want, as long as you know
where the folder is, and preferably not directly to c:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office. I suggest c:\OfficeXPSP3.

orning. Presumably at least one of the extracted files
will be an executable one.
