Folder list <> Data File list

Howdy,

I run OL2002 under XP...

My Folder List shows two PST files, but when I open File |
Data File Management, only one PST displays.

In addition, the "extra" PST that displays in the Folder
List, is designated as the Default location for messages.

I would like to delete the "extra" PST, and designate the
other as the Default location, but I can't figure out how to
do that.

Also very odd is that when I view PST files Properties |
Advanced I see that the "extra" PST's location displays as
having the same location as the one that actually holds my
data.

One PST (the default location) displays only one message (a
test from moments ago) in the Inbox, and also in Sent Items.
All its other folders are empty.

The other displays everything I have stored in its many
folders, but when I click its PST files Properties |
Advanced, I get the error "The operation failed. An object
could not be found."

If I try to remove from the folder view the PST that
contains all my stuff (which would not be a problem because
I have it on another system as well) I get the same error.

Might you have some suggestions about resolving this (before
I go downstairs to get my hammer)?

Sincere thanks,

Hello again,

I messed with this for too long, and then posted my question
above.

Moments later, I thought to try designating my "full" PST as
the default, and deleting the "empty" one.

With that, all is well...

Sincere thanks as before,
