Folder Password Protect

My boss wants to put a password on a folder in my
documents. It's the commissions folder so he wants to be
the only one able to open it. I have looked and looked
and I can not figure out how to set up a password for that
folder. If any one knows how or can give me any hints
that would be great. I just can not figure it out.
Thanks so much.

You can't on a folder without third-party software. The individual files
within that folder could be password-protected via Excel, Word etc.

It depends on the operating system and format for the drives you are using.
If you are using WIndows 2000 or XP with NTFS formatted drives, you can
easily set permissions on the file to deny or allow access to people other
than your self.

You might want to post this in the group that deals with your operating
system to see if they have an answer since it is not an Office related
question.
