FOLDER SYNCH SHUTTING DOWN OUTLOOK?

BIG FAN

All day been trying to open OUTLOOK 2003 and it says OUTLOOK Encountered
Problem and needs to close, while ICON says FOLDERS SYNCHING.

Been this way all day? Even reinstalled 2003 OUTLOOK?

Sometimes it gives me 10 seconds to do one operation before shutting down so
I have deleted old emails from Junk

HELP
