Folder View

I've been using FrontPage for 5 years to maintain the web site of a
non-profit organization. The web site is created on our local server and is
(sent) published to the web site when we are finished making our changes. In
the past, I've been able to switch to folder view in FP and delete,
rearrange, etc. Seemingly, out of the blue, I cannot see any files in folder
view. The directory that holds all of the files shows at the top, but, no
matter what I do, I cannot get the sub-folders and single files in the
directory to show. This has made it impossible for me to use FP to publish
because the program thinks that there are no files to publish. I'm now using
an FTP program so our website is up to date, but I'd like to be able to go
back to using FP to publish. Anyone have any ideas about what might have
caused this and how I can fix it?

Go here http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download a copy of FP Cleaner.
Download links are on the bottom of the page.
Run the functions that:
Delete the hidden (*.web ) files
Delete the hidden temporary files.

See if it helps.

If not, run regedit and go here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\Settings
In the right panel, right click FolderDetailColumns and select modify.
Clear the Value Data so it is blank and then click OK.

Open FrontPage and see if they are displayed

Steve,
I did everything you suggested. Your instructions were very clear. So far,
the folders are still not showing. Any more ideas?
